i love van halen i wonderd if eneybody less like them i know they are fairly old but they still rock and rock hard i would know just two weeks ago i saw them live and it was beoned kick ass i'm listing to the best of both worlds there new best of cd very awsome

It's true they changed the face of rock, but I just prefer Led Zeppelin. And you have to admit, Led Zeppelin II is probably the greatest Rock album ever recorded.

Van Halen is a hard/guitar rock band for L.A. They have made 11 cds the frist one was put out in 1978 ...............ok there we go a history of van halen.

van halen was frist made up of alex and eddy van halen, mike anthony, and david lee roth. they relesed 6 cds with roth in 1984 the band got in a fight with roth they kicked him out. then they found sammey hagar he replaced david. they put out 5150 thrie frist number 1 cd . soon after they put out three more and a live cd then they gout in fight with sammy they kicked him out to after two they found grey cheronethey put out one cd that did very poorly. they then made up with sammey and he back in . they started a tour this year ( i got to ) and that where they are now

Van Halen rocks as hell! My favourite songs from them are: Runnin' With the Devil, Dance the Night Away, and a cover of Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman. I heard one of the members are gonna take over Howard Stern pretty soon. Howard Stern was so freaking funny. I'll sure miss him.

I'm only 15, so I've never actully been around when they were big, but my Mam is a big fan, and I've picked up on that! I love Van Halen, especially Poundcake, Running With The Devil, Jump, Can't Stop Loving You and Dreams, but my definate favourites are Why Can't This Be Love, Right Now, and Top of the World.

Van Halen's ok but not better than a lot of ther bands out there. Pretty over-rated to be honest. They were by no means the best of their era like a lot of people like to claim though. A lot of their tracks sound pretty much like other tracks of theirs. A bit boring.

I like Van Halen and I'm really glad that some people around here listen to good music. I mean, come on, no offense, but there are a lot of topics about ****ty bands or singers.
