I haven't heard anything about Tom Felton returning for Order of the Phoenix. Is he returning, nothing confirmed, or not doing it?

I haven't heard that he's not doing it, though I notice he's not on the confirmed casting list, so who knows? I can't see any reason why he wouldn't be doing it. He does capture Draco's character rather well

im pretty sure ive read on MN about a month ago that WB confirmed that he will be playing Draco in Ootp. if somebody has time (which im lacking at the moment) should try to find it in MN's arcives.

I don't see why they wouldn't cast him. But if they changed him, I'd be pretty upset. I mean, he has a pretty big role coming up in HBP.

Yeah, it's weird we haven't heard anything confirming him...but we also haven't heard he's not coming back so...

That would SUCK if he didn't come back becuase he is such a great Draco!

They would never replace Tom Felton for the OOTP.
He IS Draco, no one else can play that part besides Tom.

He is too much of a fan favorite, they would not do that.
Sometimes they do not keep those casting lists updated, I'm
sure his name will be on there soon.

Tom Felton already said that he wants to play in Harry Potter 6 , that there he will have a bigger part . As for Order of the Phoenix , he is all ready filming , and i think he is having a great time . In Order of the Phoenix he has to do so many funny things ... is just me being slytherin this morning

okay if you look at jk's website she says that she went to the set which she hasn't done for years. She also says she met various cast members... including tom felton. Now if he wasn't cast to play draco malfoy then why would he be on set? I think it's safe to say that yes he has been cast to play draco malfoy again! So you can now all sigh a sigh of relief and get excited to see him in it next year! scrummy!

If he wasn't cast for oop I don't think that would be really fair on him seeing as he has done all other 4 with very little parts in them and if they re-cast him then someone else would get to do all the major parts in hbp & oop and probaly the 7th one too. Besides they would probaly lose lots of Draco/tom fans because he is Draco and I don't think we could really believe anyone else playing him. I also think it would be unfair to re-cast any of the other people as it would ruin the film. I mean look at the guy who is playing Dumbledore now I don't think he is as good as the first guy who played it. But then again they had no choice as the first guy sadly passed away.

I think if they change any main actors the films will not be the same
I want that evrybody rest in all films

Well i think he will not in the Ootp film.but i wish if could do this film again.i really want to see hiom in that film.

i'm 99% sure i've read an article somewhere on the net saying how excited tom was to be working on OotP. if he wasnt in it, we would've heard news about auditions and them re-casting and such. basically there would've been notcies saying that their re-casting so i think its safe to say tom's in OotP

Tom is going to be in the OoTP. According to Internet Movie Database, he is in that movie, and playing the evil Draco. IMDB is a good website if you are a movie freak and want to know what movie will be coming out in the next couple of years. It does give you the full cast and crew list if you want to look it up.

It would be stupid if he didn't as he plays a huge part in book 6.

Though in movie 4 he does seem a lot older than the rest of the 4th years.

That could be a reason for cutting him. But to be honest, I think the WB just isn't announcing all the cast. Its time consuming and it really serves no purpose.

i heard he was doing it for sure because of the confirmed cast list on this site (Veritaserum) it says that he is playing Draco Malfoy For Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix the Movie I never heard that he was not playing in it. i don't know it says it in confirmed cast that he is going to be in it

Tom Felton will be playing Draco Malfoy in the 5th movie. i've seen it on IMDB. but i do believe IMDB is sometimes mistaken. well, i would be happy that Tom will be coming back. He just fits the role of Draco Malfoy.

I feel that changing the actors of characters in the middle of a series is wrong. I mean, you get used to certain characters with certain actors, and I just can't picture anyone else as Draco Malfoy but Tom Felton.

Yea imdb says hes filming in his filmogrophy, but, if you search Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix it doesn't say whether or not he is filming. I think he is...he better. I mean, he IS Draco, no one on earth {or any other planet} can replace him. If he doesn't come back I'll be very very very sad. T.T

He has to return. His fanbase is too big, and so many people already envision him as Draco. Also, there's this Draco and the Malfoys song that basically says "They're making movies about our years at Hogwarts. They have me dead on. Even though I'm strait, I'm not afraid to say that Tom Felton is kind of hot." I know that doesn't completely relate to the topic, but basically, Tom is returning. Or else.

he is returning for the OotP. they have shots of the filming and they had an interview with him. so with all that info im assuming that he will indeed be returning!

I was on mugglenet and they had a video with tom felton at this years carp tournament in New York. He said that he has already been filming OOTP already. They asked him if this would be his last movie since it is the end of the contract, he said if they were willing to take him for the 6th and 7th movie, he will do it. Which i hope he does, because he'll have a big role in the 6th one. Besides, who can replace Tom.. really now. Hes gorgeous. :D

Yeah Tom Felton is in the OOTP. I cant really say too much but I was on the set over the summer and witnessed one scene that he did. It's really funny and he's such a nice guy He said that he hadn't decided whether or not to do the next one, but was pretty sure he would.That isnt a definate answer! (I dont want to be speaking for him).
But no one needs to worry. He's in this one!

when you go to have a look at the info for the fifth movie and you go to pfotos from the set. it has a few photos of hagrid. and in front of him on one photo there is a picture of Tom Felton (well it has the bleach blonde hair). So that would probably stae that he is doing the movie. as for the confirmed cast list. i guess they forgot him or something.
that would suck if he wasnt in it cuz he is so good. and HOT!

Tom is definately in the OOTP movie. As far as quitting filming after the fifth movie, scenes from the HBP movie are going to be shot after they are done w/ filming the OOTP. The HBP movie is due to be released in Nov of 2008. I watched a video interview on Tom and he said that he sorta has like a "penciled in" contract for movies 6 and 7 but from the way he sounded he would definately be in those as well because his charactor plays such a major role in those two movies. he also said in that video interview that his "contract" would keep him busy until 2010-2011. So as far as it seems now, Tom will be around until the end.

He is comming back. He has a contract for 7 years. Most everyone does ecept those who arent in there ever year, like Jason Issacs and Ralph Fiennes.

That's the first I've ever heard of 7-year contracts, as even in interviews, Daniel Radcliffe says he will make the HP films as long as he really wants to--indicating no legal impetus for making them, such as a long-term contract. So as far as I knew, we can't count on anyone returning for any of teh films, only if they get paid right and they still want to do it. We've been lucky not to lose any of our beloved cast so far due to better offers!

I think he will return well i hope he does because dracos evilness is like captured by tom and it would be right if they replaced tom its the feel of the actor which makes a film like if Emma Watson left ( which she may be doing:( ) i would really wana see the film because she is Hermione Granger

I have heard that Tom Felton, the Actor who plays Draco Malfoy may be quitting his acting job to go fishing. If he quits. Who will relace him?

I believe he's doing that after Harry Potter is all overwith. At least, that's what I've been lead to believe. I don't think he'd quit in the middle of it.

well it is way psat the middle all of the actors should stay till all the movies are done they all are GREAT actors and they fit the role so good I love them all

This... "rumor" (I'm not sure if it is one or not) has been going around for a while. He still loves fishing, and does it between the films and whatnot... but I think he's going to wait until the HP movies are done.

Actually, he has made many comments saying that if the producers allow him to that he will complete every movie. I think his age is an issue, but thats nothing that digital editing can't fix. He seems to love doing the films and I havent heard anything true about him leaving.
