Yeah I was just going through the threads and I didnt see a Draco and Luna. Not a very likely couple I know, but I havent even seen any fanfic about this couple. Oh well, just wanted to post it cause it wasnt on here, let me know what you think.

It could happen...but I think it's not such an interesting couple. However, that depends on how the writter unites them and forms them as a couple

Well, everyone thinks Luna is weird, lol. I really cant see her as Draco's type, but what a better way for Draco to prove he's on the good side than to date some one so unexpected of him?

I dont want Draco to go on the good side. There might be a chance that Luna is a traitor and goes over to the dark side in order to be with Draco. Okay I know this wont happen, but ehh thats what fanfic is for right? 0_0

Yea, since I've started thinking about Luna being a traitor (thanks to u Bella) I could see her with Draco(if he doesn't turn good) since they'd both be working for Voldy. So I think their relationship would be kept secret...until at least everything is revealed.

Interesting couple!, I haven´t tought about it!
But I do not think they can get together, I mean we see Luna so friendly with Harry, Ron and Hermione, in the 5th book, and I think that could be like traition, or cheeting, she helped them against the deadth eaters, so if she wants to conserve the frienship, I doubt we can see her hanging with Draco, Goyle and Crabb!

Well, if she really were a traitor we would never see her hanging out with those guys. Not unless she wanted to be found out so soon. Which would be dumb.

But the only way I could ever see Luna with Draco was if Draco turned good or Luna was a spy/traitor.

Well luna seems the type who will talk to anyone. Maybe Draco will use this to his advantage and convice Luna to tell him information in place of his friendship. Thats possible right? ehh, maybe not,lol.

But why would he bargin(can't spell) his friendship? She's never been in need of anyones friendship before. She doesn't seem that needy to me. lol.
I don't know about her accidently telling people stuff, she knows what she says and what she doesn't say. I really don't think she's as dumb as some people are making her out to be. (in the book 6&7 thread about Traitors...)
I think that if she tells anyone anything it's not because she let it slip it's because she wanted them to know. But then again that's just me.

I agree, but she could still want to be friends with Draco. She is female after all, going on 15, girls tend to change at that age, though not always, 0_0

I think it's really unlikely. Draco's kind of a star amongst the Slytherins, he could pretty much choose any girl there. True, the Slytherin girls aren't described as pretty... But I think Luna and Draco are just WAY too different.

Either she would turn bad or he would turn good and I don't think anyone would be very happy with either situation.

I'm thinking that Harry would never care who Draco is attached to unless it is Ginny (which I don't think it will be.) Since the books are from Harry's persepctive he will not become involved with anyone.


If it is someone -- it will be a girl who is shallow (ex. Marietta or perhaps Lavendar)

I loved the bit in HBP about Draco confiding in Moaning myrtle (spelling?), for me I thing that Moaning Myrtle is sort of similar to Luna, in that she is a bit of an odd ball but deep down kind and can see past presented appearances, so what would have happened if Draco had run into Luna (sort of like Harry did after sirius' death, *sobs*) instead of Myrtle

to me it just seems like an odd couple. the book would be almost comical if we saw them together.....but i guess it could happen....JK likes to surprise us

well its odd but romantic!?! well luna is a ravenclaw not a gryffindor which can give a better access for the ship both purebloods and blonde to continue their families blood and luna is innocent and nice (loony ofcouse) think about luna's name and draco is known to be rude fierce just what his name implies and by the way opposites to attract and luna's world of make believe may help draco that there is really a good part in him i hope you like my sort of analysis.........

Well I would have to say it would be very sweet but I get the feeling that Draco would be in the crowd bullying her for being different. Ok so if they ever did get together it wouldn't last long because Luna doesn't believe in pureblood elitism even though she is pureblood. Draco wouldn't want to be seen with someone like Luna which is a shame.

We don't know Luna is a pureblood. Her father was a wizard, yes and her mother was a witch. But what if her mother was muggleborn?


So if she wasn't a pureblood, I don't think Draco would date her.

She is a pureblood, it's mentioned somewhere (I need to look it up) but it was one of the reasons for Voldemort not having her killed because like with Neville he didn't want to 'spill and pure blood'.
