This is a really good start, and im really curious to whats going to happen next, You've described the opening very well, and i've really got a feel for the characters allready.

wow!! What a truly inspired idea for a fic, and you write so beautifully Helen I came across this while I was working, and knew I didn't have time to read it properly, but I just couldn't stop myself!

I love how you've planted great interest around the identities of the three young people on the train. I think I have most of it worked out, though I'm curious to see if I'm right, so I cant wait to find out.

I think you will definitely bring older Harry into this fic, and I think I even know how you're going to do it, so I have to say, I'm on the edge of my seat to see what happens when he figures out who she is!!

I saw that you had written a fic, so I thought I'd check it out. Wow! That was really good. It's a very original idea. I love the way you've described the characters and you even figured out all the dates. I'm surprised that McGonagall is still alive and kicking, I had thought she was really old. Oh well.
Hmm, I have a few theories, some which are obvious, others which are not. I won't mention them here, as I could be right and wouldn't want to spoil anything.

Still loving it, though you might have shot one of my theories out of the water already! I'm curious to know a little more about Mr Jamison, I'm not too sure, but I think he's going to be rather important.

I knew you'd make Snape good You are one of the many Snapelovers on this site, I know! Its fun to see why Beth likes poyions so much, and I also noticed the 'look' Snape gave her, already he senses a little bit of de ja vou in her, I think! lol

Tyrone sounds like quite a dish even at 11yrs old, I wonder what traits of his parents hes picked up. So far so good, though I'm still VERY curious to find out how you will incorporate the underlining story of why Ginny left the wizarding world. And I have to say, I'm not too keen on her 'father', that;s for sure, though I'm sure you have something planned along those lines too.

Okay, the three kids - they are children related to the trio. Tyrone is Tonks and Lupin's son, we have already learned that. So Beth will be Ginny and Harry's son. It's just that she reminds me on him, the glasses and everything. There was something about her hair you mentioned. Well, her mom is a redhead and Beth isn't. I take it she has jetblack hair and Mr. Richardson really is blonde - that's why she's wondered about him not being her true dad.
Now we come to Iliana. *sigh* She's got to be connected to the trio. But she's not Ron's daughter - the way she was talking about "a few Weasleys" being killed in the war. No, she's not related to them. So that leaves Hermione. But Neville or Luna would be possible, too. Yes, I think you have gathered the children of the old crowd, and the blonde Slytherin Beth bumped into is Draco's son.

Another theory I have is, that the new DADA professor is either Hermy or Harry. Did you say whether he/she was a man or woman? Let me re-read... No, you just mentioned 'strange smiles'. So it could be both. Maybe Harry is teaching DADA and got married and changed his last name because he couldn't stand people kept bugging him?

And Snape, Snape is very interesting. Yes, he has seen something in Beth that nobody else yet has. He has hated Harry for so long, the lines of his face are etched into his brain - he realized.

Okay, I am going back on my theory about the DADA teacher now. It is Hermione in fact. Harry lives all alone, he never got over Ginny leaving. And Iliana is Luna's daughter. *grin*

Oh, you don't need to reply to my theories. Just have a ball how way off I am or congratulate yourself on having a reader who picks up your clues - whichever fits, hehe.

What a lovely idea, it's great to think about what our favorite character's children might be like. The new trio is adorable. At first I felt you'd added a few too many clues pointing to Beth being Harry's daughter, but now I'm thinking you don't care if that's obvious, because there's defintely something else up your sleeve, he heNot to mention it might be a total red herring. I look forward to reading more!

It's Harry! You know, for some reason I'm relieved to see that he's alive. I'm not sure why really. I suppose it's due to my suspicions of Bethany's natural parentage. I'm actually curious as to why things between Harry and Ginny never worked out; why Ginny fled. But you said that you weren't going to give us any information other than what's written in your installments.
Helen, I am really very fond of your story! It's wonderfully written and it's uncanny, yet refreshing how similar this generation is to their parents. Keep up the terrific work and I can't wait for your next chapter.

I'm extremely curious as to why Harry, who would be incredibly famous, even legendary by then, would take a lowly postition at Hogwarts, teaching broom riding. Seems like he should be doing something much more lofty!

I'm also wondering why Professor McGonagall is chewing him out before he even gets started.

Nice one Helen, although i read it before everyone else( hehehe! ) i thought i'd still come in here and add my praise to that of everyone else I love the way you descibe everything, it makes it feel very real. you can really feel the emotion Beth's feeling, it comes across very strongly, as for the cliffhanger i cant wait to read the next bit, will Harry recognise himself in Beth? I would hope so, seeing as everyone else seems to!

Yes . . . .it's back. I really like this story. It was cool knowing the relationship between Harry and Tyrone . . . very interesting. And truthfully, i think the question about Ginny's existance will come sooner or later, and then everyone will figure out that she is alive, and yeah, strange stuff will happen. Omg i can't wait. And i do think that Harry is Beth's father, especially since she mounted off her broom really well . . . as did Harry . . . and everyone isn't giving strange looks for no reason! Well anyway, please write more! I love it!

She is Parselmouth because Harry is her father and passed it on to her. That is why he is needed to come with McGonagall.

Ahh I really loved this chapter. I had a feeling that they were going to introduce parseltoungue into this chapter once I read about the snake . . . and did you know that the page three hundred and ninty four is the page for werewolves? Of maybe its just for the third years in the third movie, lol. I love that she reminds him of Lily, and I actually do believe that Snape (when he went to hogwarts) loved Lily, and it's really good for Beth because he won't bug her, at least not as much as he bugged Harry . . . who I think is her father, so yayyyyyyy. And thats a really great honor that she was accepted at the first year for the potions thing. And her blonde friend is a bit of a snob, isn't she? And she's obviously trying so hard to get Tyrone, but he likes Beth . . . good for Beth, she's obviously more normal, lol. I really lovvvveeeeeeeeeeeee your story, you seem to leave the best cliffhangers which I try to do t the end of all my chapters . . . . I can't wait for you next installation.

I only just started reading this story, it's really good! I can't wait for the next update. I can't believe that Snape si being nice to Beth, its so weird.

Yay, I finally got to read! It's been so busy around here... oh my.
I don't have too much time to reply, for I need to fix dinner for the little one. But a short one.

Theories:

Snape likes Beth because she reminds him on Lily, who he was in love with. McGonagall had Harry teach the first years, because she was somehow wondering whether Harry could be Beth's father, maybe?
The teachers look at her and they might think she looks like Lily a lot. Harry didn't recognise her as his daughter... hm.. strange.
And why would they want to protect her? Are the DE still on the loose? I have to re-read the first two chapters, it's been a while, I forgot. Shame on me. But Ygraine, do continue like this. i enjoy it immensely.

Ok, as some may know I don't like big cliff-hangers. This si a big one. They drive me up the wall because they're so good! I thought you would've updated by today but you haven't! Please update this is so tense. It took me ages to find your story again and it was all for nothing. Please hurry!

By the way: My theories are:

1) Everyone is staring at Beth because of her eyes, they are her mother's, Ginny's. They stare because they believe her to be dead.
2) She seems to be a bit like Harry. I have a feeling that when Harry taught them he told McGonagall and Dumbledore that it might be is daughter(for I believe it is).
3) I have a feeling that when McGonagall and 'Potter' aka. Harry come down to Beth and Snape they will tell Beth that harry is her father(*lol* sounds like Star Wars).

Excellent, truly excellent Helen, It will be very interesting indeed to see Ginny's return to the story, and Harry's reaction to both Ginny and to his daughter! I think we may well see an OOTP style reaction, but in this case i think its justified!

Everyone's characters were right on, and it was great to see their interaction done so well as here.

Flutters--some redheads have brown eyes, but it is more rare. Generally the ones I've known have pale skin with no freckles. My eyes are blue...*sigh.* I had a former boyfriend say that was the only thing wrong with me...they weren't green. Hmmm. Could be why he's an ex. Nah, not really. lol

Beth is Harry's daughter and only just realised.
Snape loves Lily and that is why he got information from Beth for her mother to know who the father was to see if she is realted to Lily.
