I've always loved Hedwig... 'cause of her loyalty to Harry and she's such a beautiful owl.. she seems so serene and so calm, but she sure has her attitudes sometimes, hehe.

I'd have to say Hedwig just for the fact that i would want an owl and she's the coolest owl. She's not to hyper and not to old or lazy that she would lose letters and such

Originally, I would probably say Hedwig because she's a beautiful snow owl and it really makes you wanna get an owl and hug one.

HOWEVER, my fickle brain has change its mind. Pig is just so hyper and tiny that it'd be so much more fun to play with a pet like that. A bit mischevious and klutzy, but neverhtless loyal. GO PIG!

I'd just like to reiterate Jk’s warning that owls don't make good pets!! and indeed shouldn't be kept as pets.

But that being said I'm going to be a complete hypocrite and go for Hedwig.
I’m not a dog or cat person (or to be honest even a pet person).
Hedwig just seems to have so much of a personality, more so than any other characters.
I also like Fang, not because he's a dog but because he’s a coward (in the best sense of the word that is) and as such is in no way aggressive but very affectionate.

I voted Hedwig because she is an awesome bird who has been by Harry's side through all this mess and mystery. Staying by him shows staunch loyalty and that encourages Harry to keep going. They may get peeved at each other on occasion- but its tough love.
Also Hedwig tries to give Harry small opportunities to be a kid with less troubles. Like when she travelled for days visiting Harry's friends to get him birthday presents.

I would say pig. He sounds adorable, and chirpy and sweet.

My fave would have to be Buckbeak but he wasn't there. Pity. Oh well. I guess that I would have to pick Hedwig.

My favorite pet is Crookshanks. He knew who the bad person was right from the beginning. Plus in the movie he's so cute

as of right now, i have a cat named Crookshanks, a bird-(not a owl, but it is whitish) named hedwig, and i want to get a rat, for scabbers. but its too much money for all. maybe one day though

It was a toss up between Crookshanks and Pig, and I went with Pig, just because the visuals I get of him all hyped up and flying around a room at 100 miles an hour are so hilarious.

i'd have to say that pig and crookshanks came in close behind though, i just can't choose, all of the animals are my favourite.
