Oh poor Darla! She makes me feel so sad for her. But I think Little miss Darla Malfoy is WAY more powerful than her jerk of a brother. Just my theory.

You really are an exceptional writer. Sometimes when I read fanfics, people miss the small stuff. You didn't! Way to go Loony! I eagerly await more updates.

Although your chapters are generally quite short, i like it because when having a few minutes "timeout" from homework its nice to be able to read a short snippet of a story.

Well, I have to say that your fic is original. I like the idea of Draco having a sweet sister.
My only problem is the relationships in the fic. It seems that on the first night at Hogwarts, Hermione is already friends with Harry and Ron. They all seem to treat each other like friends, the whole of the first years. Another thing I noticed was the way Harry acted when Darla ran into him on the train. In the first year (at the beginning) he was not used to people gawking at him and probably wouldn't show those emotions until later years. Oh well, it's your fic . Also, I doubt McGonagall would need Dumbledore AND a bunch of untrained eleven year olds to get rid of the Giant Squid.
But apart from those little things and a few grammatical errors, very good job. I especially like the hooded figure at the end. You left me hanging.

Post more soon, this could turn out to be very interesting...

Hey guys! Thanx so much for the tips! I'm hoping to start the next chapter this week but I'll be busy tonight (Carving pumpkins), and tomorrow night (Halloween) Tuesday maybe, Wednesday (Volleyball) and plus the load of homework. OK, I caught up on all that I have missed..finally! First, a piece of constructive advice. I think I mentioned it t you before, but it is still very difficult to decide who is saying what during your dialogue without things being put into new lines. Your grammar is great and I believe it would make for a much better read to seperate what everyone is saying on different lines. Just an opinion, but you will get more readers if you make it easier to look at and to read.

I was hoping Darla would be sorted into Gryfindor! She really doesn't like her brother, does she? But you have done well in portrying Gryffindors as brave and heroic while battleing the giant squid. Why did it attack the school? I alays thought the Giant Squid was friendly. Hmm...but this is your fic, huh? ANd what was up with the black figure flying into the dark forest? Who is it? This is during the first year, s is it Voldemort? Or Quirrell? And now....the squid had Hermione and Darla?!?! Oh No! What will happen to them? Please update soon. You can't leave us hanging on that cliffhanger for too long! Great job Loony_Luna!

Anyway, Luna, I thought this was a good chapter. I'm so glad the whole squid situation evened out nicely - and here I was expecting some long, dramatic scene with wounds and blood...

I just had so much freetime, I started reading fics I've never read before, thus I got here. Hehe. It's quite interesting to see Draco having a sweet little sister. I can see him and their father treating her bad. *sigh*

There are a few things you should smoothen out, like

But why didn't Darla tell anyone about the cloaked figure?!? Dumbledore is always scary when he is mad huh? Poor Darla, her brother is such a prat. And Snape...*shakes head*...always the same, isn't he? 20 points?!? Oh my, he is really upset isn't he? And already Hermione's reputation preceds her.

You are doing a great job of developing the characters. Especially Darla. I can't wait to see what trouble they get into. I hope Darla can excercise some control over her brother. Hey, are you sticking to cannon on this fic? Or are you rewriting? Just curious, I lke to know what to expect.

Just to let everyone know, you'll find out who the hooded figure is in the next couple of chapters when you find something out about Darla that will lead to a short adventure. I'm sick today ( ) So I'll probably write a bunch more seeing as I have the whole day to spend.

But it made me laugh though, Darla was afraid that certain Gryffindors wouldn't want to be her friends because she might be getting into trouble! Isn't that calling the kettle black! I mean...who else has gotten into more trouble than certain Gryffindors? Ah...well...looking for more Loony Luna!

Oh Loony_Luna.... I am so sorry for not having replied earlier. I just have to copy almost everything Flutterflie already said, with the sleepwalking stuff and Lucius being there. I've been a sleepwalker myself when I was about eight, It influences your whole life.
I also loved the scene in Snapes classroom you described earlier (that one with the test) Snapes behaviour is exactly the way I picture it
