A sorting website told me I should be in Ravenclaw. And that seems pretty right to me to be honest. Although there is a certain lure when it comes to Griffyndor!

I took the test and it said I would be in Gryffindor, hense the screen name!

I think I would like to be in Gryffindor. I'm quite barve and all that malarky, so I think that would be good! Plus I like the colours that they wear!

Well, I wanted to be sorted in the house of Gryffindor or Hufflepuff. I don't like Slytherin, although I know not all people who are in that house can be bad. I just don't want to be one of them. And I don't know what it is, but I just dislike Ravenclaw. I don't have a particulary reason for it, it's just how I feel. And luckely for my, the sorting hat told be I'm a true Hufflepuff And proud of it

realistically, I'd be in Hufflepuff I'm loyal to my friends, don't mind hard work... I'm not particularly scholarly (Ravenclaw's out), and I don't think I'd be sorted into Slytherin. If I could pick, I think I'd choose Gryffindor or Hufflepuff

If i had the choice i would wont to be sorted into Gryffindor because i have been throo a lot and that has made me very brave and i realy like gold and red so thats another rision for me to be in Gryffindor. Also i think that if i was to be compared to someone in harry potter it would have been someone in Gryffindor and in realy life i think that i am much like Ginny.

I would hate to be put into Slytherin in that way im like harry were he cept telling the sorting hat not to put it into Slytherin but im a girl.

I'm a good student and a total book freak, so I think I'd probably be in Ravenclaw. That's what all of those quizzes I took said I was. I might also be in Hufflepuff. I'm very loyal to all of my friends and am willing to kick major butt if they are insulted or hurt. I'm not particularly brave, so gryffindor's out. I'm more 'How can we all get out of this and still be alive?' I'm cunning, but not particularly ambitious, so slytherin's out of here too.

Overall, It's Ravenclaw with slight Hufflepuff.

At school me and my friends all had a big discussion about this, don't know why, we're just very sad I guess. I know I am. And in the end everyone (including myself) decided that I should be in Ravenclaw, I always likes ravenclaw, it always sounded airy and had a ring to it, and my mates think I'm really clever because all my targets are A*. HOwever after a while, I decided that I wanted to he different from everyoneelse, and told them that I was transferring to Beauxbatons, and that's how I came to be Hannah of Beauxbatons. But if I had chose to go to Hogwarts I probably would have ended up in Ravenclaw.

I've always wanted to be in Slytherin... and I'd probably be put in there too. All my quizzes have turned out that way. : )

I just took a couple online quizzes on sorting. Turns out I was right. I am in Ravenclaw. And the quiz on this site says I am too. YAY! I Ravenclaw.

I'd love to be in Ravenclaw. It's my favorite house..........but I was sorted into Gryffindor. I'm not all put out about it, but if I had the choice I'd pick Ravenclaw. Ravenclaw is awesome!

Well, I'd be sorted into Hufflepuff. I love being a 'Puff, but, if that wasn't an option, I'd have to choose Ravenclaw. Both my parents are in there, and one of my best friends is too. And so is Luna Lovegood, which works out well, seeing as everyone tells me I'm her double. hehe

I think I could do with Hufflepuff. Somebody said the people in it were odd, but I'm quite odd myself. And I like odd people as well. All of my real life friends are "special", says my ex (himself not such an ordinary type, lol). Plus I really like humility as a quality, and I feel like Hufflepuff people are the most humble of four houses, and show off the least.

I also sort of dislike Ravenclaw for no reason. Maybe 'cause they seem self-sufficient/proud (of their wit, cleverness, God knows) while staying all the while in the shadow of Gryffindor and Slytherin, and I find this contrast rather ridiculous, nay obnoxious.

i think that i would be in gryffindor because i'm kinda smart but i enjoy doing things most others wouldn't. i'm kinda daring and easy to get along with.

i would want to be in gryffindor because i like the people in them. i would want to be in it because i would want to be in the same house as harry<333 and hermione. they are soo awesome. hermione is smart and cunning and harry is daring and adventorous. i could learn a lot from them. besides it always seems like all the fun happens in gryffindor.

I was sorted into Slytherin and agree with that descion as it suits me well. If i had the choice id choose to go into Slytherin as well simply because i feel i belong there the most

Well, I think I would be sorted into anything but Slytherin. I have qualities that fit them all.

If I would choose, I would be in Gryffindor. And yea, that's probably because it was the main house in Harry Potter. But, also, I love adventure and daring. I wouldn't get that in another house... at least I think I wouldn't. It just seems like an amazing house.

But we have to realize that if we would be 'sorted' (o don't we all wish it) that our choice on where to be put affects the hats decision. Remember when Harry was sorted.

I got my wish when I was sorted, I like Slytehrin anmd all of the tests I took matched up and boom I was placed in Slytherin. Slytherin is not a bad house it just a long sseries of bad guys that have been in the house so therefore it has a bad reputation branded on it thats why all people affiliate Slytherin with "badness" or "evil", but agaib it is just because of the history behind the house. If everyone would give Slytherin half a chance maybe they would see that it is not all that bad after all......

I would like to be sorted in Gryffindor, but there 's a chance that i'd be sorted in Ravenclaw.. Cause i love studying and learning.. I mean i love books... I like both houses.. not just hufflepuff or Slytherin... i dunno why..(just my opinion, all you Slytherins and Hufflepuffs there)..

well, I think I would be sorted in Hufflepuff or Rawenclav. Cause I'm smart and have good grades, I really like to read and, yeah, all thouse things and I think I'm kinda odd and all
But really I would want to be sorted in Gryffindor. Well, I think it's because I kinda try to be more brave and risky, cause life is more interestng that way. And yeah, it's just that if you look at people who are sorted in Gryffindor(in book) they all are that kind I would want to be. So self-confident like Hermione, brave like Harry. And I would just want to live life like an adventure I know that I really wouldnt get sorted in Slytherin, its not that I think it is a bad house, I like it too very much, but I think dont fit in there

PS. I'm sorted in Hufflepuff, so I think I'm sorted in the one would need to be, its just that I think that hufflepuffs are a bit odd, but good people in heart, so and I think I am kinda like that.

Hmmm...let's see if I had to choose I'd want to be in Gryffindor, however; I have been sorted into Hufflepuff. I was a little disappointed at first..but now I'm used to it. Hufflepuff has become one of my favorite houses now..even though we don't have a lot of info on it.

I AM a proud Ravenclaw...I already was sorted, but if I had to choose I"d either pick Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I know people think Hufflepuff's are a bunch of 'nutters' but really, when you think about it, have you ever meant an honest-to-goodness mean person from Hufflepuff? Think of Cedric Diggory and Justin Finch-Fletchly. They were genuinely nice people (Justin was just confused about the Slytherin heir nonsense, but in teh beginning, he was nice person, right?)

Gryffindor would be nice too, but I think bravery and being so called 'invincible' is not as good for me, plus I'm just not the risky, brave person that some Gryffindors are...so I wouldn't like that

the house that i would have liked to be sorted into was gryffindor just because well ron<3 i mean look at the way gryffindor is presented i respect everyone else's sorted wishes but i would loveee to be in gryffinodr <3 then yet again i was sorted in hufflepuff. for sure i never would ever be sorted into slytherin . i just dont have what it takes to be in it . but maybe ravenclaw. any house suits me but slytherin [& i hope that gryffindor is for me... asides from the sorting quiz here ]

I think I'd rather be sorted in Ravenclaw, because I'm more brainy than brave-y. I'd love to be in Gryffindor, because there is where the heroes have been, but I don't think I'd really deserve it. Well, but now I think, I have some bravery inside, and I think I have demonstrated ir some times, but I won't know how far it goes till I'll have a real situation when to show it.
But otherwise, I'd like Ravenclaw, because of its nicety and amount of books , and the way they have to prove themselves everytime they have to enter their tower, to show they're still deserving of their house.
I don't know what about Hufflepuff, but don't think I fit there. But one thing is sure: I definitely wouldn't be in Slytherin. It's not my kind, at all.

dont worry i never really gave hufflepuff much thought since i never read much about them becuase they werent really mentioned that much , but its good , loyal hardworking , trusting , (: they are like Hermione17 said well rounded people you have a little of everything & much more (: which is why i say that im proud to be hufflepuff <3

I'd have to say that If I could have choosen I would want to be in Gryffindor. I believe that when a situation arises I usually begin to be very levelheaded. I wouldn't have minded being placed in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw, I feel I would have fit into those houses as well. I strongly believe that I wouldn't be placed in Slytherin, I don't have what it takes to be there. Ugh...

Hmmm... If you had the choice, it would be interesting. I would probably choose Hufflepuff. They've never really been in the lime-light other than when Cedric got picked for the Triwizard Tournament. I would really like to be in a house that isn't always under pressure to be the bravest, the smartest, or the most cunning. You could just be yourself and you could have genuine friends who care about more than just saving the school (No offense Harry, your life story is a whole lot more interesting and fun) or more than just studying more than breathing, or talking loudly about how you helped open the Chamber Of Secrets at one point (Also no offense to Slytherin's, just the ones who are intolerant of Mud-Bloods) But anyway that's my opinion.

I woul LIKE to be sorted into Gryffindor. I really don't know if I would be but I'd absolutely do a Harry and beg not to be in Slytherin. I'd just beg the hat to sort me into Gryffindor. I wonder if it would do that, it may refuse and put me in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff instead....

Well I'm almost always sorted into Slytherin, the sorting quiz on here put me in there also so I just went with it. I'm surprised when I get put there, but when I think about it that's the best house for me. I've got a cunning streak in me. ;)

So if I had to choose I would probably still choose to be in Slytherin. Now it works for me and I've got that pride goin on. :) I used to kind of what to be in Ravenclaw, but my stronger qualities are Slytherin. So I mean, I wouldn't want to choose a different house because it would be somewhere that I didn't fit it. Never in a million years would I fit in with the Gryffindor house. lol Not to mention, I've grown a fondness for the whole serpent thing. I have always been a fan of snakes and liked to have them as pets, so that's cool to me too.

I admit I would be chuffed if the sorting hat put me in Gryffindor because being told you're bold, brave and adventurous can never be a bad thing really. They seem to be good qualitities people look up to.

But then i think actually being a gryffindor would get tiring with all the wreckless, spontanious, hyperactive energy. I'd like the intellectual conversations in Ravenclaw but I've lost interest in schoolwork now so there'd be no-one to hang with when everyone was doing homework!Slytherin would just be too harsh and independent.

So... Hufflepuff! Relaxed, easy-going, not too in your face, not too studious, warm, friendly, fun. And near the kitchens

If I had a choice, I would most probably choose Hufflepuff. In the books we hardly ever hear much about Hufflepuff. I've always found Hufflepuffs hard-working, eager, and quite intelligent. Plus, as previously quoted, the common room is right next to the kitchen! What more could I honestly want from a house?

I'm the same as Acidpop. In almost all the sorting quizes I have taken (alot) I have been sorted into Slytherin apart from one where I was put in Ravenclaw.

I wasn't really suprised and would choose it anyway, sorry if that sounds like I'm evil but not all Slytherins are, since I am very defensive and have been told I have a cunning streak in me. I am...erm...maybe a bit too proud but I wouldn't say arrogant and I have always liked the Slytherins (excluding Pansy Crabbe and Goyle) and felt they were a bit misunderstood. Keep in mind I said 'a bit'.

If you had the choice? Hmm. I think that I would choose to be in either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. I doubt that I would choose Gryffindor. I'm not really the sort of person to dash around doing brave things, which is what the stereotypical Gryffindor would be portrayed as. So either Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff--which are the two Houses I usually get Sorted into, anyway. I think that I would like Ravenclaw because of the focus on learning. It would thrill my studious nature! But being in Hufflepuff would be fun, too. I'm a very loyal kind of person, so I think that being in Hufflepuff would kind of be like being in the snuggly, friendly House. Maybe that's just me, but doesn't it seem like Hufflepuff should be the snuggle House? That could just be the name, though.

from a lot of the quizzes i've taken that tell you which house to be in, i have a pretty even mix of answers, most of them are hufflepuff and slytherin which is a bit odd because i dont think i would fit very well in either house. a few years back i wouldve put myself in slytherin simply because that is the house that draco malfoy was in and all. thinkin about it now though i think i would put myself in ravenclaw or gryffindor because i see myself as a smart person that would do well in either house. the most recent quiz that i took, however, told me that i should be in hufflepuff. so i suppose based on my opinion and the opinions of quizzes i should be in all four houses

I was personally surprised when I was sorted into Hufflepuff. I don't see myself in that house at all. I've taken plenty of other quizzes and I always get put in Ravenclaw or sometimes even Gryffindor. I just found it somewhat odd that I'm there. I just feel that I have a lot more qualities of a Ravenclaw then a Hufflepuff.

Every quiz I've ever taken... I've always been sorted into Ravenclaw. I've always hoped for a different opinion, not that I don't love being a Ravie, because I do, but I want to see that I don't only have those qualities. I wish we had the real Sorting Hat. He can really see deep within the person and tell who they really are. Like Hermione. You would of thought she would of been a Ravenclaw, but the Sorting Hat found that little bit extra that made her a brave Gryffindor. I mean, all this shows is that I have intelligence, wit, and beauty.

I don't know if I would choose to be in another house, but I would like to know the Sorting Hat's own opinion before I decided.

I would NOT like to be in hufflepuff, I'd probably end up in ravenclaw because I got all 5as in my Year 6 SATs (brits will know what I'm on about) and i was the only pwerson in my year6 at my school to get that.

Well for starters I would definitely want to be sorted into Gryffindor because I truly am very brave and I could see myself associating with all that is in the house....

I think if the time came the Sorting Hat would debate on putting me in Gryffindor or Ravenclaw because I am quite smart and clever... I figure out most things my friends don't haha... and I usually don't get stumped on any kind of question or riddle.. But in the end I'd be put in Gryffindor because I am braver than most and would do anything to keep my friends safe even if it meant harm to me.....

Personaly I thought I was going to be in Gryffindor but to my surprize I was placed in Hufflepuff but I am not mad. If I had my way I would be in Gryffindor because I have most of the qualities that a Gryffindor should have and do have.

I choose Gryffindor! I can be headstrong, daring, Bold, Foolish, determined. Ilike big cats and i love the color Red. I can also be ignorant if i think im right.

I would pick Slytherin so i am happy where i am. I like silver and green the best out of all the house colors. The only thing about that is that im not a coward so that would be a reason for me not to be in that house. I would think that i would be put in Ravenclaw because i like to have really good grades and they are the smarter people.

If I had the choice I would go into the Slytherin house. They seem like the most fun house, and I'm a pretty big trouble maker myself. I think I could fit in, in any of the houses but in terms of having the best time I think Slytherin would be my best bet.

Hmm... That is a great question.I suppose each House has its merits.Gryffindor has had so many, illustrious allumni.That I feel little need to add to their glory.

As for Ravenclaw...I would say that I have quite my fair share of Intellectual Curiosity.So joining there House would be very Tempting!

Finally...We come to Slytherin...I think what would compel me most,to join the House of Salazarr Slytherin.Is my desire to do my Best to Redeem their Public Image. I personally feel...That when the Majority of Slytherin House left Hogwarts.Prior to the battle in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.THAT WAS THE FINAL STRAW!

Sigh...As you can see.I have some strong feelings about the House of Slytherin.Because if that`s suppose to be what being a Pureblood is all about.Than being Muggleborn,is looking quite Good! And imo,while I agree with Phineius Nigelious words regarding Headmaster Severus Snape`s (and by asscociation.Slytherin House contribution to defeating the Dark Lord).Unfortuantedly Sev seems to be more of an Anomaly;than just one of the many Brave and Noble.Of the House of Slytherin.

I mean my God! Look at all Severus had to go threw.To become good brave and desent.I hate to say it.But, he is kind of well; "One of the good one`s." As they say...

In closing.I actually almost wish that there was a 5th House.That combined all the values of the Four.
