What was every body's fav quotes out of the first two fims?

Mine is probably when Hermione says
' Now I'm going to bed, before either of you come up with another clever idea to get us killed or worst expelled..'
'She needs to sort out her priorities.'
I love that line and have absolutly no idea why.. so what do you guys think?

I love that one, too! Though, I like just about any Hermione line on the planet, so maybe it doesn't mean too much. I also like this one:

Classic Hermione line - "What an idiot" I absolutely love it,just the way she says it think.

I also love the way Rupert says "That was bloody brilliant!"

And last but not least, I love this line, even though it makes fun of Ron-
"My name's Malfoy - Draco Malfoy" (Ron laughs) "Think my names funny do you? No need to ask you yours. Red hair, and a hand-me-down robe. You must be a Weasly."

Haha...some really funny quotes that you guys came up with! I am a bit rusty with this stuff because I have not seen the SS/PS or CoS movies in quite a long time. Hmmm...that reminds me...I have the SS/PS movie on DVD downstairs....maybe I will watch it tomorrow!

But, my all-time favorite quotes -- possibly from all of the movies -- comes from Ron (Rupert). In the scene in Sorcerer's Stone, when Harry, Ron, and Hermione are playing the life-size wizarding chess, Ron says:

"You're the one who has to defeat You-Know-Who. Not me, not Hermione, you."

Rupert must have had a cold at the time when they were shooting that scene because his voice is a bit nasally....but it is a great quote, nonetheless!

Also, a very touchy one that moved me, because all the power of Dumbledore is weak and has all his trust in Harry; very nice...

i love that line makes me laugh everytime i watch the first movie.

In Chamber of Secrets when Ron and Harry figure out that they have to go into the forbidden forest.

I have no idea why, but I just love that line! I dont think it's what he says so much as the way he says it. I love his voice.

I love the line in Goblet of Fire during the first task. Fred and George shout, "Yay dragon!" That part makes me fall to pieces. There are lines that rate high on the unintentional comedy scale. In the first movie, it is hilarious when Snape says, "Up to something." Perhaps the best is when Hermione panics when Harry first years the basilisk, before she learns that Harry is hearing voices that no one else can hear.

The first two films were not really the best ones, to be honest. This thread should rather be about ALL the films so far. I think Goblet of Fire and Prisoner of Azkaban were both far more entertaining.

Just my opinion, though.

Anyways, seeing how other members have already quoted their fave parts from other films past the first two, I shall do the same. Hurrah!

My favorit quote comes from Serius Black in POA, speaking to Snape

I use this for one of my signature pics with a picture of both snape and serius wands drawn with that quote followed by once an enemy.....

The chemistry set - thing was very good i love that one too.
But how about Dumbledore's line when he talks to snape in the great hall after the search of Sirius. He looks down at Harry and say "- But for now, let him sleep. Because in our dreams we are entering a world, that’s entirely our own. Let him swim in the deepest sea, or glide over the highest cloud. "

It's not funny, but it sounds so good !

My fav quote is when Harry is in Dumbledore's office having just saved Ginny from Tom and Dumbledore tells Harry that:

I think that quote is so profound. I am going to put it in a frame and place it on my wall when I get an office. For me it reminds us not to get too big headed about what we know. It is our behaviour and choices that matter and shows who we truely are.

Dumbledore's lines are also pretty cool too.

Hey I have a few that have stuck in my mind from the twice I've seen OOTP so far.

* Neville is explaining the Room of Requirement*
Ron : So, if you really needed the toilet...
Hermione : Charming Ronald. But yes, that is the general idea.

Harry : But if we're going to be attacked it's not going to be risk free!

* After Harry and Cho kiss*

Hermione : I'm sure that Harry's kissing is more than satasfactory.

There was another that me and my friend found hilarious for absolutley no reason at all.

Harry : LOOK AT ME!!

We were sliently laughing in the theatre for about five minutes after that and we felt so silly because no one else was laughing. Afterwards we kept shouting it at random people going into the the cinema. It was really funny.

Well, I was watching the fourth film yesterday, and I would have to say that my favorite line is when Dumbledore is talking to Harry at the end of the movie, and he says
"Soon we must all face the choice between what is right and what is easy."

I also like the scene in Ootp where Harry is telling Ron and Hermione about his kiss with Cho. It was great, especially the part where Hermione tells Ron he has the emotional range of a teaspoon.
