tashluvsdan
Thanks for the advanced warning!! & to think that my dad is practically dying to see that movie!!

4.00 for a movie! thats crazy! at the theatre near me its like 7.50, even on matinee(sp?)
then theres this other place thats 4.25, but they never have very good movies. cept harry potter of course.
but this isnt about that.
ok, so, my dad really wanted to see OPEN WATER. i guess i should warn him not to!
thank you for the review on the freakin stupid people stuck in water laugh.gif

I live near movies where the seats r very uncomfortable.Every friday we go see movies(STRANGERS 2005) my class.
The movies are good and i think 7.50 4 a movie is soooooo much compared 2 this theather.
joeshmoe1228
lol It's 7.50 where I live. The cheapest theater I've ever heard of is in this cheap place in Flushing (New York) for 3.00. If you want the best movie theater I can think of, it's probably 10.00 per ticket (includes nice seats).

I figured Open Water would be just like Phone Booth with Colin Farrell except in water. Phone Booth was one movie that revolved around the whole, you guess it, phone booth. I figured Open Water would just be water and trying to scare you while they're at the same exact spot.

I guess I'll trust your opinions and my instinct and not see it. lol.

I wondered about this movie. When I saw previews all you see is first they are on a boat. Thenthe boat leaves them and they are stuck in the water with a shark around. I thought just the preveiws were weird. I didn't even think about seeing it because it didn't look like much to it.

Yeah here the matinees are $6.00 and evenings are $8.00. Children are $5.00 and Seniors are $6.00. It used to be $5.00 for matinees (long time ago)and $7.50 for evenings. That was like 6 months ago. They keep hiking it up. When I saw Secret Window it was $4.00. This is where my cousin lives but there is only one cinema. Sometimes it will have two movies. One during the day and one at night. That town is like the one in the county. ALl the others are really tiny. They are like villages. This town is smaller then mine and mine is 2,557. Its a few hundred less and it the biggest in the county.

My country is sooooooooo small

I live on PR(puerto rico) And I live on the cofee town.My town is soooooo small, they named it a city not long ago.

And they raised the ticket price now it's 4.50 and ladies night is 3.00. Seniors are 4.00. And kids are 3.00.

You know, I just read reviews for this movie recently, and I've seen GOOD REVIEWS! E! gave it an A, and I usually agree with them when I do see the movie.

There's no special effects. The sharks are real. That's definitely cool. Now I'll watch it when it comes out on DVD.

If it makes you feel a dizzy emotion, isn't that good? You feel what the swimmers are feeling with their heads bobbing in the water and all. In contrast to your comment, I heard the camera work was awesome and it really held you in their seats!

I also remember something about the actress (what's her name?) acting her part well! I really want to see it for myself!
Naz
is this the movie where those two people are stranded in the ocean?? i would never go see that

Oh yes. I thought Phonebooth was horrible. Half the time I wanted to scream at the tv when I rented it, cuz the whole movie was in the same street basically the whole 2 hours. (!)
Naz
^^look at the bright side, it was two hours of Collin Ferrel in a phone booth!! lol

i didnt even bother seeing open water
aleja23
Yeah! That`s true I`m not going to spend my money in that movie, from what I`ve heard and all that, that movie is really bad, and Can`t they be more creative, that sotory is very common and ordinary!
2 people fighting against sharks and then they died!! dry.gif
