i went to party in the park this summer with a friend and teletubbies came on the stage and everyone looked at me weird cause i screamed and hid behind my friend!

if i had a boggart it would probably turn into either a spider or a clown.

If I face a boggart it would probably see a giant poision spider of some kind. Or I might see someone in my family that i care about dying.

Well im a paranoid person, so i have quite a few fears......lets start with spiders....*EWW!!* I HATE EM!! and any creepy looking bug!! (actually even if its not creepy looking, except for caterpillars and grasshoppers) especially big bugs. Needles are also up there *shudders* every time i see a needle i feel weak and light headed.(i stepped on a sewing needle and it cracked on a bone in my foot:blink:) sharp things, vicious dogs, dementors even though i think ther kinda cool, and the list goes on for another few kilometers.

What would the bogart turn into? probably everything i fear combined in one!(AHH!!) i wouldnt even be able to say Ridikulus!

If I find a boggart I think it would turn either to the people I love dying or the veil in the department of mysteries. That thing scares me because once you go through it you die but I don't know how. That isn't explained well in the books

I'm pretty sure that I would see members of my family or friends dead, like Mrs Weasley saw in OOTP

Either that or one of the Umpa Lumpas from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory!

My Boggart would probably turn into something like my family all dead, like Mrs Weasley, or maybe people I love not accepting me. I'm always afraid of stuff like that. *shivers*

It would turn into a huge black blanket and obstruct all light. I am terrefied of whats lurking in the darkness.

haha, I'm not laughing at you, I swear. I'm laughing at the fact that I would have done the EXACT same thing if it was me instead of you. We're too much alike, you and me. I use to think TT were cute but now they're kind of sad looking. My sister absolutely LOVED them when she was little. I know.....

My boggart would definetly be that girl from the ring... that or that crazy dude from Texas Chainsaw Massacre... ha ha, my parents were watching it one night and I had to go to the bathroom which is right by the "tv room" and I saw like 20 seconds of it and it creeped me out so much! *Shivers* that's the only horror movie I won't see.

i'm not sure what my boggart would be either! i don't truly know what my greatest fear is.

my greatest fear is that of dying and nobody in the world cares if i'm dead or alive. i don't want to just b another person in this world that dies, i want to be someone where at least one person will care if i live or die.

My boggart would be my friends and family dying or clowns. Either would scare me really bad. My friends and family dying would make me sad and clowns would scare me!!!!

My worst fear is all of my friends and family turning their back on me, kinda like what Battlefield2142 was saying. I dont want to be alone in the world. I dont want to be not loved. That would be my worst fear, being absolutely alone. Thats what my boggart would turn into.

I'm terrified of scorpions. When my mum was pregnant with me she had an awfull experience with scorpions, and I guess that came into me.
I think that's what my boggart would be.
On the other hand, I'm very much like a nerdy Hermioneish girl, so having a teacher tell me that I'm completely mistaken or that I don't desserve attention would be awfull!!!

One of my boggart’s is currently on one of the living room walls…a huge spider! I hate spiders; I’ve hated them ever since I was little, and as long as I can remember I have hated them. It’s the way they crawl; I mean…what do they need all those legs for anyway? God I really hate them, they make my skin crawl.

I f ear most snakes. So, my boggart would turn into a snake. However, I would wear it with a tutu (like the classic ballerina) and I'd laugh a lot.

It's really scary to read about some of the experiences people here have with the things they are afraid of.

As for me, some years ago my Boggart would definitely turn into a spider, a dark room or a forest in twilight. The older I am the less afraid I am of such things. So now, I’m not afraid of those any more but what frightens the living daylight out of me is what might be between water's surface. All the pieces of wood, discarded objects and the like, everything covered with a layer of some seaweed... I love swimming, but always have this feeling that my feet will touch something ugly under the water’s surface, to say nothing of that something might grab my foot. Rather irrational, I know.

But I'm pretty sure my Boggart would turn into me being a mental asylum inmate just sitting on a chair and staring blankly in front of me, unable of any intellectual activity. That's what frightens me the most.

And, Battlefield2142, yours sounds also frightening and above all sad. I'm quite sure that whatever people say they fear the most, there’s always a part of them that is frightened by exactly what you describe. So, let's hope we will never have to face it.

maybe my relatives and friends died. this'd be really terrible.

I fear quite a lot so that's a tough question... there is probably something that terrifies me more but I absolutely hate spiders... even the smallest ones, I can't deal with the number of legs

This is probably why I'd like to meet a Boggart... I have no idea what my worst fear is.(Same with the Mirror of Erised, I don't know what I desire most)
However Potion Mistress' Mental Asylum idea is really spooky... the idea of that terrifies me completly, particually if you can still understand what is going on around you, you're just incapable of responding.

Like Mrs Weasley, the thing I fear the most is death - not my own death, but the death of friends and family.

Hands down, my bogart would be a snake. I've been terrified of them since I was a little girl... one crossed a road I was driving on once, and I had to pull over! (LOL) I had to build up a tolerance to even seeing them on TV shows like Crocodile Hunter!

im kind of stuck between 3 things, well 2 really but there is 3! (bit confusing)
one thing im terrified of is spiders but i dont think that would be it. im deffinately more scared of losing everyone close to me and being left alone, that i dont think i could handle

and im also scared of failing (but not in like failing exams like hermione). it probably sounds weird but i hate dissapointing people, myself included, so in a way im scared of being a failure... but i dont know if that can be reflected in a boggart

O.k. my worst fear has happened and that is that someone came to my school with a weapon and that somene would die and I almost can't even speak to strangers ecspecially not guys now.

But I am also terrified of not of death like after it or the second it happens but leading up to it.

As many people have said it would probably be a Mrs Weasley moment and show those I love dying.That is the thing I fear most.

I'm ok with spiders when I am not in the same room as them,like if they are on the tv or something.But they are so quick! One minute you can see them,the next they have disappeared!.....urgh no

Mine sounds really silly, but I will explain. I got my fear when I first watched 2001 a Space Odyssey...my nephew was about to be born and we watched the movie for a film theory class...well...that bit with the baby floating off in space at the end really got to me. I had nightmares for weeks...since then, my fear has been seeing myself floating out into space...into nothing, esentially. it just scared the pajeevies out of me. I know I sound silly, but that is what I see

hmm. thats a toughie. im not entirely sure wether it would even be possible for a boggart to become my worst fear, because it's really quite a strange one: DaRkneSS like pithch black darkness. but yea either that or having something/someone close to me taken away ; but come to think of that would not make me afraid if anything it would make me severely angry and i would not have any trouble getting rid of it( the boggart i mean)

Mine could turn into a multitude of things but i think the four that are most likely are someone i love dying, being told by my parents that they are disappointed in me, myself drowning, or something to do with a spider!!!

my boggart would turn into a spider (i no for a fact)! a really really big, hairy one with really big legs and huge pincher things and huge big eyes!! a bit like ron's boggart... we share the same fear!

i dont know what my second fear would be! probably one of the monsters out of doctor who like the empty child or the angels (you wont know what im talking about unless you actually watch doctor who!)

yeah i have to agree with loveSeverus on the comet fear! if anyone has seen deep impact, they'll know what i mean! its about this meteor that hits earth and causes a massive tidal wave! even though it happens in like america, i was really freaked out!

I know exactly what mine would be: someone close to me dead. It's not just a catastrophe for me, it is a true and terrifying fear. I know this for a fact. One could almost say that I am afraid of sadness, change, and hurting the ones I love, which pretty much equals someone I love dead.
It scares me!

Mine would be the unknown. I know it's kind of lame, but let me explain. It's what so scary when you wake up and you here something, or one of your parents aren't home. Your brain immediately jumps to the worst conclusion and you freak out until you know what happened.

See what I mean?

Mine would turn into this fat kid at school called Joe Hallas, I have nightmares that's going to sit on me one day. Nah only messing. What really gets my pulse beating is unexpected surprisews in the dark. I went camping once with a load of friends, and we played steal the flag at like midnight, so we were in this forest, it was pitch balck, then Laura (who I hate now lol) jumped out at and yelled, and I just lost it and screamed.

Good question ... I think mine would turn into the Doomsday Clock striking midnight, because that would be the end of the human race due to human fault. That's scary.

You know what? I really don't know. I can't think of any material thing that I'm really scared of. I mean things will startle me, but I can't say there is something that I'm scared of really bad. I'm more scared of ideas, like things happening. Someone I love dying etc. But I suppose my boggart would become the devil for me. He's the only thing I'm really deeply afraid of.

I'm not sure what mine would be either.. I fear death as an event, not as an entity, that said though, it'd probably same as Mrs. Weasley's: people I care about dying :/

Probably Harry dieing. I know he is a character but I love him. He deserves to live as long as possible. No wait Daniel Radcliffe dieing would be awful. He is real!!

I don't know. I've asked myself this question a lot of times and I've come up with two things, fear itself, and cowardice in myself. I would be scared if I purposefully ran from a fight to save my own neck and for anothers to take my place, and I would hate that fear. It would keep me spiraling till I went mad. I would just hate it *shudder*
