I'm happy enough with my Acceptable. Last time I got Exceeds Expectations but I did find this one harder so yeah. I printed my certificate too, Marire, put it on my wall with my other one. Hahaha. They're pretty cool looking certificates though. Congrats to the people that passed I love these tests.

Wow! That's amazing. You must be really happy! It would be really good to know what the grade bounderies were so we could see how close we were to getting a higher grade. Hopefully I was closer to an O than an A... So, now there's three people who have got an O. I'm so jealous!

It's been 6 months since the last one... if they wait 6 months for the next one that will be April... the perfect timing to "tease/reward" us with the title for a July release.

How much earlier than the release was HBP released as a title? Can't find the date anywhere.
That would be a good bet for the time of the last Wombat.

I think the title of the 6th book was released sometime near the end of June 2004. The 29th I think. I might be completely wrong though, I'm not exactly sure about it. Yeah, I just checked, that's the right date. So it was about a whole year before the book was actually released (July 2005)... I'm sure it won't be that long this time though (hopefully). Looking at that I don't think that April is a good time to have the next WOMBAT test if that's when we will get the title because it's too close to July (if that's when it will actually be released). Maybe it will be given some other time instead.

No, I understand what you mean completely! I can't imagine that the next Wombat will be immediate, but according to the timing of HBP, they're late getting the title out, and JKR just said that she came up with another title idea in NYC while she was there in August. She thought she had decided, and came up with another one while taking a shower in the hotel. She may or may not have decided, but she at least has narrowed it down to two.

I wonder... if you missed a wombat, will you be able to get the "Prize" information? What if you only got to take one... and you failed it? I missed the first one, didn't even know about it until I saw this topic, but I took the last one and got an E. Maybe all you need to be able to retrieve the "prize" is a wombat number... which means that you only need to catch one of the tests to get it. I wish they had make-ups... I would love to have taken the first one.

I'm wondering about where you got the information that we will get an prize after the third wombat? and maybe we get the title of the 7th book out of another quiz. a good time for this would be christmas...

We're just assuming... On JKR's site, when you do a puzzle like activity, you get a "prize" of some kind of information that has not been previously released.

I think, If I'm not mistaken (correct me if I am) that the last title was released from her site first. I missed it myself, but I'm hawking the site from now until the title comes out.

wow...i didnt realise the results were up until reading all these posts right now. Just checked mine..got an Acceptable like last time. I thought this test was much easier than the previous one. Congratulations to everyone who passed, especially those who got Outstanding.

I'm so sad now because my printed version of my student identification card number didn't work and i can't get my results! I really want to cry now.

That's terrible, Thegirlwholived! How frustrating! Did you do the previous test? If you have the number for that one, you might be able to see the results for this one as the wall has the plaques with the results. I don't know if it will show, but it might be worth a try. If you don't have one, I don't think there's any way to get it now.

Yeah, that is frustrating, and it nearly happened to me. I had my code written down on a peice of paper, but when I used it it wouldn't work. Fortunatly I had it saved on my computer and I just did copy & paste. I am so happy that I got an E though, the test was hard and I thought, like most people, that I'd fail. I think that the title for the 6th book was released mid may, so maybe if the final W.O.M.B.A.T is around then, we might get the title if we did and passed all three. Sadley, I missed the first one so I wouldn't get it anyway.

Hey, Lunashouldbe. The Wombat Test is closed now, so you can't take it. There'll be one more eventually, I'm guessing before the release of book seven, so keep watching that door! She likes to have all these tricks there before you can get into what you want, doesn't she? Keep watching when the door opens, though, because several places post some hints as to how to get the test to open.

My computer has been down when both the W.O.M.B.A.T. tests were up. Hope everyone did good on theirs. I hope to get the next one done.

I didn't manage to take the first wombat test, but I managed to take this one. My result was exceeds expectations which I was pretty pleased about.

I've missed both tests so far! I first found out about this last one being opened a few days after the door closed. It also doesn't help that my computer is so old and slow that it takes about 15 minutes just for JKR's site to laod up for me! Maybe I'll catch the next one, I'll need to start checking once a week.

I subscribe to this topic, with notification from Veritaserum by e-mail when someone posts here. That way, as soon as someone posts here I look to see if they are posting that the door is open. I figure that way, if I forget to look, maybe I can get in on it because of the e-mail.

I missed the first one, but was able to take part in the second one, with a score of E (Exceeds expectations.)

Maybe you could do the same thing, Leylania, especially since you have trouble loading JKR's site.

Hidden One; the wombat test is over and the results can no longer be retrieved. I don't know that there is any way to get the results now. You'll have to wait until the third WOMBAT test to create an identity and take the third test. Sorry.

Hidden One, the third test still has not been done. It may be a while. If evenly spaced time-wise I think we figured out it should be about March/April somewhere in there. You just have to keep watching, or subscribe to this topic so that when people start posting about the test, you can run to JKR's site to do it.

Okay, I completely agree with samsmom! That was difficult. Just reading the books will not help much at all. I wish I had taken the first two tests, though. Oh well, I'm not sure that they would have helped much anyways.

Interesting, because I am on the site now and the Do Not Disturb sign is nowhere to be seen and the door is standing wide open.

I agree with those who say reading the books won't help. You either know this stuff or you don't. Some of it was familiar, but the majority was guess work. I anticipate a very large 'T'.

that test was sooo hard. if anyone took the test last time, which was harder, and how long did it take to get your results?

I expect a bad grade too. Although some of the questions were fun. I had quite a laugh and great fun at guessing around. Even though, the grade won't be good. But if Jo writes those tests herself they really are fun and as a historian, history of magic was a good idea.

Wow that was super hard! I missed the other two because I didn't have an unlimited internet connection but hopefully I at least passed it!

ive taken the last two aswell, and i found this easier, i dont know why...

i finished it quickly enough, and had enough time to go back...but i probably will fail...

I took the W.O.M.B.A.T test and found it fairly easy. I finished with enough time left to check my answers again. I never did take the other ones so I don't know if this one was harder or not. But after a week and a half of waiting I got my results back.. I got an Aceeptable!!!!!!

The results are in. I got an....................EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS!!! I was expecting some sort of fail grade, a Poor at best.

So my results all up have been:

Wombat Test 1 - Acceptable

Wombat Test 2 - Acceptable

Wombat Test 3 - Exceeds Expectations

So I actually improved. Sweet!

Hooray! I deserve to be in Ravenclaw! I just received my results from the third WOMBAT test and I got an "Exceeds Expectations"! I could have sworn I was going to get a "T", but apparently not. I wish I had taken the first 2 tests. Oh well. I PASSED!

Well, I got an Acceptable, which is fine because I guessed most of the answers! I really didn't have the stomach for yet another exam, what with all my finals I did for my Degree very recently. So, pleased I passed, and that's good news!

My Degree results are out this Thursday...I wonder if you can guess how I feel about that?

Recently sorted into Gryffendor, so overall I'm pretty happy.

This was the only test I was able to take, and I got an acceptable on it. I did it completely offbook, so I guess I have to feel decent about remembering as much as I did. Anywho, I don't think I lived up to my sorting in Ravenclaw.

I too got an Exceeds Expectations. I am quite suprised (I had a very bad feeling) but really really happy.

Who would have thought guessing can take you that far ... I really loved the history questions and the possible answers, especially the Anne Boleyn one.

I'll miss the Wombat test though. Won't there be any more riddles? I wonder.

OK so I too got an ACCEPTABLE, which is far better than the T I expected, so I'm happy with than. In any case, since I guessed about 75% of the answers, I couldn't have asked for more

OMG!! I saw you'd all received your results, so I went to check, and... Outstanding!! I can't believe this, since I had to try and work some logic(hard, yeah) and, consequently, guessed a lot. I never got to take the other two tests, so I don't know either if this one was harder or not. It was fun, though. I was so sorry I'd missed the other two.
