SiriusBlack2005
i throught that is game was not worthy of the other harry potter games as the free roam that i loved was gone. you couldn't talk to other people and this made me upset as i had been waiting for this game for over 4 months before the release and it was a great let down to find everything i liked about the games gone. i want to know exactly what you throught of the game

I personally think that the Goblet of Fire game was terrible. I mean, some parts were really fun and entertaining, but I was really mad when I noticed that Free Roam mode was taken out. What I did like was the capibility of swiching between characters as in the third one. But, getting to what you're saying SiriusBlack2005, I totally agree. This game didn't really feel like a Harry Potter game as much as the other ones did. I thought that the GoF game was WAY too short. I mean, come on! Don't videogamers deserve something a little more challenging?! Anywho, I agree and I hate that Free Roam mode was deleted from this game. I'm sad to say SiriusBlack2005, but it looks as if the other Harry Potter games are going to be almost the same without a Free Roam mode. What system do you have anyway?

I adored GoF!! I loved that you could choose to be Ron, Harry, or Hermione. And the way the levels were set up--it was challenging, but a lot of fun. The Triwizard shields drove me a little batty, but the animation was spectuacular and the graphics, challenges, and voices were superb. It was extremely different from the previous three games, but I think they pulled if off very well...I'm looking forward to OoP, but no Vampire Moysps...Mospys...Mospys...mad.gif I even spell them...they were so darn annoying! Oh, and the Voldemort fight scene was great but soooooooooo hard. Still, overall, it was quite good.

I think it was okay.
In contrast to dungeonguard i think it was better than The first three.
I think the first three is so much like other games in the licencegame buisnies.
Gof at least tryd to be good and it did pretty well at least i think so. smile.gif

I didn't like the GOF game either....i bought it for my little brother who is 5 because he loved the other 3, and we didn't like it. The free roam was gone, which sucks.... We spent hours trying to find a bunch of stupid shields....and you cant choose your spells which...i repeat...sucks.

I liked it. I played the SS and CoS ones for GBA and the GoF one for the DS and it was alright. It was kind of straigtforward though. It didn't have the hectic sort of involvement that was present in SS and CoS because GoF was kind of done in chapters that were really, as I said before, straightforward. It was fun, but saving the game was a little confusing and getting shields took me forever.

GoF the game was rather short and sorta different fromthe storyline. although it did follow the main storyline there were other lets' say quests that weren't in the book or movie. with games i know it's not supposed to be exactly like the movie or game but it could have been longer and more fun as well. more things that you could do that is part of the stroyline would have been fun and for the game to be more detailed as well. i may be being a bit skeptical but that's how i feel about the game.

the first time i turned it on i was so confused i had no idea what was going on, but as i figured it out im starting to like it better. i do like the freedom of the others and the sidequest of the others but it was ok. i like that there were more spells but i wish i could pick which one i used. so far chamber of secrets is my favorite. now if they could combine characteristics from both games it would be really cube. oh and i play mine on gamecube.

I thought this game was terrible. I haven't been able to work it out at all. I can't even get the hang of moving around, it seems like when I try to turn left, I end up going straight ahead, and it's almost impossible to get a good aim on anything so you can cast spells.
I don't understand why they had to change the format the way they did, and I really hope they go back to the other way (roaming around Hogwarts, etc) for the next one, otherwise I will NOT be wasting my money on it.
On top of all that, every time I install this game on my computer, the Prisoner of Azkaban game stuffs up and just stops halfway through whenever I try to play it.

#4 was a let down to me. Like most of the others here, I liked #3 better. I loved the free roaming of Hogwarts feature in #3. It was awesome and I had fun playing the whole thing through again after a few months. With #4, I probably won't play it again. I hope they make #5 like #3 smile.gif

I cant say much about this game. It was the worst out of all of them i just like wandering around the castle doing tasks.

I liked it! I thought it was cool and was challenging. I got it for my PS2, and I had the rest for my computer, so I'm not exactly sure what Free Roam is...
Felix2090
I didn't like it at all. There was no free roam. The setting was too dark, so it seemed like you were playing at night. I wonder if the games have anything to do with the director? The first two games seemed just alike, then the third, fourth, and fifth were different. Hmmmm.....

I completely agree, the graphics stunned me when I started playing. I was also dissapointed, like most people, that the game didn't have the Free Roaming but this was probably the best they could do with it. I really liked going back and achieving different objectives on the same levels. You can't really look at a level the same this way.

I liked how you could give the characters special abilities with the cards. That gives me the idea that it would be cool to have a real Harry Potter RPG where you can level up you character and gain new abilities. They should make a game like that where you start out as a created wizard/ witch student and get to progress through school and then get to fight evil wizards in the end. They could make it real combat or turn based, either way would be great........sorry for going off topic but those are just some suggestions for what a future game could be.

I got it for pc. It is definately the worst so far. I have played Harry Potter games on 4 different platforms and I am used to free movement. Also, I have a touchpad on my laptop so I find some of the levels much harder than normal. It was quite a disappointment in many ways but it's Harry Potter so I managed to enjoy it.
