The Internet Movie Database has updated their Goblet of Fire page, noting that principal photography (explanation) for Goblet of Fire will end on March 18. Bluescreen filming took place from March to May 2004, and principal filming started last summer.

veritaserum, I think you didn't understand the comment from that page
"Principle photography finishes 18 March 2005"
They are talking about the photography which is in charge of taking pics to be release to the media (production pictures), they are not talking about the actual filming. The filming will contunie maybe until April which is the date set by the production to finish filming the movie. |

|
| madre, princible photography mean the main filming parts! then they go on to do the parts without the main actors so that will probably take till april. not production pics :) |
 |
|
| eho told you that? lewis |

From Answers.com:
"Principal Photography refers to the phase of film production during which the movie is actually shot, as distinct from pre-production and post-production.
"Principal photography is usually the most expensive phase of film production and generally marks a point of no return for the financiers. While it is not uncommon for a film to lose its greenlight status during pre-production (for example, because an important element such as a cast member drops out), it is extremely uncommon for finance to be withdrawn once principal photography has commenced (and is usually regarded as a catastrophe).
"Once a film concludes principal photography it is said to have wrapped, and a wrap party may be organised to celebrate.
"During post-production, it may become clear that certain shots or sequences are missing that are required to complete the film, or that a certain scene is not playing as expected, or even that a particular actor has failed to turn in a performance of the required caliber. In these circumstances, additional material may have to be shot. If the material has already been shot once, or is substantial, the process is referred to as a re-shoot, but if the material is new and relatively minor, it is often referred to as a pick-up." |

| Its principle, not principal. |
 |
|
| It works both ways in this sense, Amy. |
 |
|
principle:
1. A basic truth, law, or assumption: the principles of democracy. 2. a)A rule or standard, especially of good behavior: a man of principle. b)The collectivity of moral or ethical standards or judgments: a decision based on principle rather than expediency.
3. A fixed or predetermined policy or mode of action.
principal:
1. First, highest, or foremost in importance, rank, worth, or degree; chief. See Synonyms at chief. 2. Of, relating to, or being financial principal, or a principal in a financial transaction. [dictionary.com] -----------------------------------------
Both terms seem to be accepted by different websites to mean the same thing.
Whether its the main photography or the most important photography. I believe they are going to relate to the same stage of filming. |
