"If we turn our heads and look away and hope that it will all disappear then they will - all of them, an entire generation of people. And we will have only history left to judge us."
Denise's report
Although the Australian Premier was not as star-studded as the US nor the England Premier, a few Australian Harry Potter fans turned out to be showered with autographs from David Thewis (Professor Lupin). Strangely, the premier started at 10:30am on a Sunday morning and a quiet and humble David Thewis took to the red carpet right on cue.
The premier was mostly for the people in the media but I still tried to talk to one of the organisers of the event to see if I can get an extra ticket for myself. Even though I didn't get the ticket, but I was surprise how nice the promotion people were.
Fans were not disappointed as David gave us all the time of the day to sign many autographs and be hounded with our camera flashes. There was even an adorable fan that dressed up in the Hogwarts uniform. I am sure David must have been deeply impressed with that.
He didn't speak much, but when I asked him if he could sign my Prisoner of Azkaban book, he kindly asked me where I would like it signed. I was just in awe how gentlemanly he was. When he handed me back my book, he flashed me the most sincere smile. Once again, my respect for the British actors in Harry Potter has gone up ten folds.
