Biography: Pam Ferris was born in 1948 in Hanover, West Germany. Her family moved to Wales, where she was raised in Llanelli. At the age of 13, her family moved to New Zealand. School started to become boring for Pam, so she became involved with local amateur dramatics. At the age of 16, she became a full-time actress. In 1972, when she was 23 years old, she came back to the UK. Pam landed her first professional acting job on a theatre tour of Suffolk and Norfolk. Her first big break was when she was cast as Nestor on the sitcom 'Connie.'
