Biography: Timothy Sydney Robert Hardy was born on October 29, 1925 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, England, UK. He studied at Oxford University, under the great British author C.S. Lewis and graduated with honors. In 1949, he joined the Shakespeare Memorial Theatre at Stratford-upon-Avon. His theatrical training prepared him for roles in many Shakespeare productions and a live-TV production of Henry V. While training, he developed rhetorical skills. He put his skill to good use when he narrated and hosted such documentarys as "Castle Ghosts of Ireland," "Horses in Our Blood," and "The Piccardy Affair." His classical training has allowed him to slip into many historical characters, such as Prince Albert, Winston Churchill and Nazi foreign minister Joachim Von RibbenTrop. He is considered a legendary actor and one of the best in England. He has received critical acclaim for many of his roles, on stage and off. Somewhere inbetween his performances, he fell in love with archery. He has published a book called "Longbow."

- Became a longbow expert when he played Henry V at Stratford. He became a longbow/weapons consultant for the Mary Rose Trust when that 16th c. warship was recovered at Portsmouth, England, UK
