Heyman: SPEW cut, new filming info
"Anything that doesn't really relate to Harry and Harry's journey is less relevant. That's not to say that there're not minor detours. Inevitably there are. But there are certain things that we don't spend as much time with as they do in the book, just by the very nature of the material."

Heyman on Newell nuances, Emma on Ron
"I'd say there are certain things about this film that are more British - the anarchy, and the specific Britishness of the school is highlighted in a way that hasn't been previously filmed by a Mexican or American director, and there are nuances ... that will be appealing the world over, but are very much British."
New 'Goblet of Fire' picture and info
"Although much Potter sorcery will be created digitally - even the dragon's egg Potter wins after duelling with a dragon has its resin body enhanced to create its magical interior - the film also incorporates extensive use of animatronics (the dragon) and prosthetics."
Great Hall 'transformed into a shimmering silver wonderland'
David Heyman: "In the film you'll see The Weird Sisters play regular instruments that are a little bit strange, like bagpipes with really long pipes and guitars with three necks. And because there's no electricity at Hogwarts, the sound system has to be powered by steam, so you see these bursts of steam coming out of the speakers."

Smells Like Teen Angst for Harry Potter 4 "At the beginning, the antagonist, the anti-hero, the creature of supreme evil, has a plan. He needs one tiny, tiny little thing from the boy: three drops of blood. Therefore he sets up this gorgeous piece of clockwork which will get him what he needs. And the boy, classically, starts, as all thriller heroes do, in complete ignorance, and then you watch him ratchet around until and he and the antagonist are in exactly the same place at the same time, knowing everything," Newell explains.
