Update: Warner Brothers has denied casting Ian in the Goblet of Fire movie, but he did appear in the Prisoner of Azkaban as a customer in The Leaky Cauldron. Brown is friends with Alfonso Cuaron. Cuaron offered him a larger role in Prisoner of Azkaban, but he refused it.
  • Ian George Brown was born on February 20, 1963 in Ancoats, Greater Manchester, England.
  • According to The Observer, a UK newspaper, Ian Brown is going to play a "wizard with gold teeth" in a Harry Potter movie.
  • Ian Brown was the lead vocalist for rock band Stone Roses.  Their song, My Star, was 5th on the UK charts at the time of it's release.
  • Ian Brown does not have any acting experiences to his name.
