01/05/04- Rumors that Rowan Atkinson may play Voldemort or another character in Goblet of Fire surface.
In the days following, The Sun (a British tabloid) and the Internet Movie Database also reported that he would be in Goblet of Fire.
However, on January 7, 2004, Atkinson's agent (Janette Linden) stated that he would not play Voldemort or any other character in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: "There's no truth whatsoever that Rowan will be in the next Harry Potter movie."
