  • 01/05/04- Rumors that Rowan Atkinson may play Voldemort or another character in Goblet of Fire surface.
  • In the days following, The Sun (a British tabloid) and the Internet Movie Database also reported that he would be in Goblet of Fire.
  • However, on January 7, 2004, Atkinson's agent (Janette Linden) stated that he would not play Voldemort or any other character in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire: "There's no truth whatsoever that Rowan will be in the next Harry Potter movie."
