Through my agency I was able to do a brief audition for Harry Potter in April/May 2004. About 6 weeks later I was told to go for a costume fit (during my GCSE week!) and that I had been chosen.
I’ve now completed 19 days of filming, including 3 days in the dragon arena! 14 days in the "Great Hall" and 2 days of nightshots in the Quidditch World Cup Campsite.
The "Great Hall" scenes were my favourite as many special effects took place and I was able to learn from some great actors including Alan Rickman and Sir Michael Gambon.
I play one of the Hogwarts students, so every morning I go through hair and make-up and costume to get into my Hogwarts robes. Best moment was running into the Great Hall late by myself.
It was a truly fantastic experience.
