A few days ago we reported some Harry Potter holiday cheer found over at TheLeakyCauldron where a fan submitted images of a gingerbread version of Dumbledore's Office. It was very cool!
In that same post we posed a challenge to members of Veritaserum.com (YOU!) to create your own holiday magic and submit it to us for review. Since then, nobody has replied- So I've decided to up the ante a little bit!
Starting today, December 17th, Veritaserum.com will be holding the Harry Potter Holiday Challenge. From now until January 5th, 2010 you can submit your own original piece of work to be judged by the staff members of Veritaserum.com. This can include, but is not limited to, fan fictions, drawings, sculptures, videos, songs, etc. Be creative!
Rules: -If you're younger than 13 years old, you must have parental permission.
-Submission must be Harry Potter related.
-Submission must have a holiday theme. (Christmas, New Year, Winter, something to celebrate the time of the year!)
-All submitted content must be appropriate for family and children.
There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. The first place winner will recieve a copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (English) DVD.

Please include your name and an email address to contact you with. No mailing address is necessary at this time to redeem the First Place prize. The winner will be decided on by the 10th of January.
