Horcruxes

Snape
Good or evil? The enigmatic Severus Snape is one of the biggest question marks going into book seven. Did Dumbledore misplace his trust in him, or was the ordeal atop the lightning-struck tower meticulously planned out?

The Wizard War
The opening chapter of Half-Blood Prince set the tone for the last two tomes in the Harry Potter septology: the wizarding world is at war, and at the moment, the Order is scrambling to thwart the Death Eaters' terrorist attacks in both the Muggle and magical realms. Their quandary is only worsening with time, and we have yet to discover who will ultimately side with who in the final battles of the war. The dementors are clearly on Voldemort's side, but will Hagrid and Lupin be able to convert the giants and the werewolves, and will the house elves and centaurs join the fight?

The Veil
Dumbledore and Lupin, two of the most trustworthy characters in the Harry Potter series, gravely assured Harry that by falling through the veil in the Department of Mysteries, Sirius's life had ended. But were they right? We have yet to discover the background or purpose of the veil, so feel to theorize about its impact on the last Harry Potter book.

The Mirror
Following the release of the sixth Harry Potter book, JK Rowling said that the two-way mirrors once used by James and Sirius to communicate during detention still have a role to play in book seven. What is it?

The Ministry
Regardless of whether or not he knows what he's doing, Rufus Scrimgeour at least exudes an air of confidence and is not constantly flustering. Where will he lead the Ministry in book 7?

Relationships
Harry and Ginny have broken it off, at least temporarily, and Ron and Hermione are moving ever closer to their imminent relationship...how will it all end up?
