1000 posts, 67 pages...and here we are. I don't know about you guys but I'm mighty stoked and extremely proud of what SPELL has achieved and become today. **beaming with a biiiiiig grin**

So let's keep that flame burning aight...it's ALL FOR OUR REMUS, never forget that!!

Taking a detour on the admin side of things... (sorry to be a party pooper but can't be helped eh, one of those unavoidable things y'know hehe)

For all youse out there who aren't members of SPELL...what the heck took you so long??! *LOL*

There's only ONE criteria to becoming a part of the Lupinite community - you must love Lupin.

And that's it!!

Just for the record, here's a crash course on what we're all about:
1) SPELL stands for Society for the Prevention of [JKR] Ending Lupin's Life

2) Official tagline : Where welwolves are people too

3) Official Lupin Day : November 01st (mark your calendars peeps!!)

4) We have 3 affliates:
** S.O.S. (Squash Old Snape / Save Our Snape) - for or anti, whichever takes your fancy
** In Sirious Denial Support Group - for Lupin's best mate, Sirius!!
** C.U.B. (Crush Umbridge Brigade) - because we all hate the old cow grrr

5) The 3 "silver" rules :
RULE #1
While Lupin is the main star of LupinLand/SPELL, members are welcome to discuss Snape, Sirius and Umbridge as they are part of our affliates. Just be sure they never steal the limelight from our Beloved, of course!!

RULE #2
The mention of the "D" word, unless used in reference to Umbridge (or Snape, if you want to squash him not save him) is strictly prohibited. We only want good and happy things for Remus, after all!!

RULE #3
Discussion regarding the Marauders is cool, but not at great length. That's what kipsy's Marauder's Club is for.

Warning : Anyone who fails to follow the rules will be fed to a Skrewt.

Ooh just in case you didn't notice, LupinLand Amusement Park is open once again (with brand new rides too!!) and Lupin is playing hide-and-seek...

I missed it! Oh no! I can't believe it. I was away and I missed the 1000th post! Argh, I feel so bad. I remember when I first suggested this. Actually, I don't. Really, but I remember it was a joke. Haha, funny, eh? Er...not.

Aaaahhh Luparius, mate!! **huggies** Aww don't feel bad that you missed the grand ermm "closing" , what counts is you made it into our brand new shiny thread!! And yeah we *are* the first club to make it to the grand 1000 *proud* and I think the 2nd thread to move to a new one...the first one was Word Association but that one doesn't really count now, does it?

Argh! Yes, I know. And it's fallen into major disrepair. Seems I can find fanfic but I'm awful at continuing storylines...or starting or finishing them for that matter. So sorry bout that. I'll try and keep it going this time, but unfortunately writer's block is nearly as incurable as lycanthropy. Only difference being it comes and goes. And isn't quite as painful, or damaging to the health...Anyway, I'll really try hard this time. So be prepared for annoying annoucements promoting the thread! XD So sorry, guys.

About England: Hehe, well if everything falls into place like I'm hoping it will I'll be even luckier! Don't know how it'll work out at this point though, but maybe....

Hello ! How nice to see you again! Wow, it's really amazing that our Lupinland is so popular... I wish my Remus fanclub was like that... Yeah, people like him - some of them like him very much - but they rather don't want to post there. It's a bit irritating.
But I'll stay with you, of course. I'm really proud that I'm a part of it. The new badge is gorgeous!

Heaps of apologies peeps for being inactive for the last 2 days...was stressing over a particularly mind-boggling assignment, but that's all presented and handed up today so now I get to enjoy a nice long Easter weekend...

Right-o, first up a very *belated* Happy Birthday to Gary Oldman!! You rock, my man...cheers on giving us an absolutely wicked portrayal (well IMHO anyway ) of Lupin's dearest mate!! Can't wait to see you all brushed up (or at least, less scruffy ) in GoF...
