04/11/04: The Rosamund Pike Site reports that Ms. Pike has been cast as Rita Skeeter in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Pike said, "It's a dream to be in a Harry Potter movie, and working with Mike Newell is such a honor, I admire him a lot."
August 27, 2004: Pike states on television that she was offered a role in Goblet of Fire but turned it down when she found out that her scenes in the movie would be minimal and that her contract would require her to be in the fifth movie as well.
